Les bij Gloria Pedraza, Spanishinsitges is les op maat. Ze verdiept zich in jou als persoon, je interesses en eventueel je professionele vocabulaire. Het lesmateriaal is daarom steeds weer uniek en nooit saai: van onvermijdelijdelijke grammaticaoefeningen tot interessante boek of filmrecensies, waarbij ze je niveau heel goed weet in te schatten. Je leert niet alleen Spaans; je leert ook over de Spaanse cultuur, politiek, kunst en geschiedenis. Ze lijkt bovendien wel een wandelende "uitladder"; altijd heeft ze tips over optredens, films, theater, exposities, etc.

Kortom, een echte aanrader!

I have taken Spanish classes from five different teachers—2 in the United States, and 3 in Spain. And the reason I still study by telephone with Gloria Pedraza is because she is the best teacher I have ever had. My goal is to become totally fluent in the language, and especially, to speak it correctly in terms of grammar. I have made tremendous progress with Gloria, in so many aspects—vocabulary, correct grammar, and especially, being comfortable both listening and speaking in Spanish conversation. She has a talent for knowing what her students need to work on “next,” and on ensuring that the lesson sinks in. I have never, ever felt “stuck” at the same level with her. Each lesson, each conversation, represents a step forward in my understanding and ability to use the language.

When my friends in the United States tell me they’re interested in learning Spanish, I tell them that they’ll learn more “telephonically” from Gloria than they will from any teacher they find here in Los Angeles!

If the highest recommendation is “5 Star”, then I would give her 6!

I recently took intensive Spanish lessons with Gloria in Sitges. She was punctual, well-prepared, and gave practical lessons at my level (rank-beginner). She also kept a straight face while a completely butchered the language which was no small feat when I opened by saying something like, ''My name Ryan. I married to my sister since 18 years.'' By the end of our lessons, I could properly say that I'd been married to my wife for 8 years, order in a restaurant, use basic tourist Spanish (hotels, trains etc), and converse at a very basic leve. I've taken a number of language courses and would highly recommend her, particularly to beginners who need a crash course in the language.

Arriving in Sitges and not having knowledge of Spanish was a big obstacle, Gloria was recommended to me and I started taking private lessons with her weekly. Within a few months my Spainsh had improved and also my confidence to speak it. She was patient with me and with her help I found I could converse at a basic level quite quickly, after a year of learning with her my level was more than basic. She teaches at a pace suitable to all levels after a few years my grammar was at intermediate level and I could read local newspapers and watch spanish TV with little difficulty. I would highly recommend Gloria to teach anyone spanish , she is professional patient and encourages all her students to keep going and not give up.

Gloria is a dedicated and naturally talented language teacher. When I started classes with Gloria I spoke very little Spanish and with her help I improved my level very quickly. I've lived in Sitges for nearly 7 years now and Gloria gave me classes when I first arrived. The classes were structured around things that I was interested in but also current news and events, so I learned more about the country I now call home. My vocabulary expanded rapidly and my understanding of grammer, which I have to say, we are a bit weak on in the UK!!! I am now fluent in Spanish, which is just as well as I run my own business for which an advanced level of Spanish is necessary. I have to say Gloria has to be one of the best teachers I have the pleasure to meet and learn from and as a Spanish teacher I don't think you could find anyone better. After your first couple of lessons it is quite clear her method of teaching will have you speaking Spanish in no time just like she did for me. I still have regular Spanish lessons with Gloria every week as I believe she can and will take my Spanish comprehension to a level where I could not do alone.

I moved to Spain a year ago and was having trouble trying to learn Spanish and fit it in with having a young family, when a friend recommend Gloria which was fantastic as she could come the house, I could have lessons with my husband or on my own and I could fit it around the family. I have been having lessons with Gloria now for 8 months, I feel my understanding and ability to communicate in Spanish have greatly improved and I feel more confident to join conversations, take my children to the doctors etc...She is a very good teacher and I really enjoy learning from her.
